Employment Matters!: The Employment Matters! Committee is responsible for organizing the annual Massachusetts APSE Employment Matters! Training Event.
Training and Education Committee: The Training and Education Committee is responsible for all training-type events, outside of the annual conference.
Communications: The Communication Committee develops and implements an overall communication strategy for MA-APSE that links the chapter website, national website, social media, newsletters, and supports MA-APSE goal of increasing employment for people with disabilities in Massachusetts. It supports all external communications including: chapter website, social media (Facebook and Twitter), public page of national APSE website, and email newsletters to members.
Public Policy: The Public Policy Committee works to support public policy efforts that advance employment of people with disabilities in Massachusetts, including monitoring of public policy developments, development of position papers, creating action alerts for members, and conducting advocacy with policymakers.
Membership: The membership committee is responsible for ensuring continued stability and growth of the chapter’s memberships, including monitoring the status of memberships, outreaching to new members, reminding expiring members to renew, and recruitment of new members.
